After a whole day of studying on Sunday I always take a long shower or a nice warm bath. Then I really have the time for my longer beauty ritual. Here are some of my tips:
- Take an alternating hot & cold shower. This might make you scream at first, but I feel very good after. Especially after my workout. First was regularly and at the end I turn on the hot water, make it even colder, take the showerhead over my legs and stomach and then turn back to warm. And this three times. I always end with warm, or else I'll be cold all day. These showers are good for the digestion, helps reduce cellulite, make you sleep better and makes the skin tighter.
- Another tip with cold water: after you're done washing your hair, rinse it with very cold water. This makes your hair cuticles close so that your hair becomes greasy less quick. It also makes your hair more shiny!
- Scrubbing. I scrub my face and body once a week. It removes old skin cells and makes your skin glow. Don't overdo it, once a week is really enough. Products can be found here.
- Oil. I love to cover my whole face, lips and body with this oil once a week. It smells so good. It's a bit sticky, so make sure to cover your whole legs when you'll sit down! Sometimes I even use it on my hair before I was it.
