Recently I've been on a cleaning roll. I've been throwing away so much stuff. From my wardrobe alone, I donated 5 bags to the Salvation's Army.
Same for my kitchen. Just so much stuff I've been holding on to for years. I've been living by myself since I was 21 and have been the same Ikea flatware and china ever since. Time for an update!
Villeroy & Boch Oscar flatware. It's so pretty and shine! Great quality as well. Also have white and red wine glasses from this brand.
And also new Villeroy & Boch additions: pans! A stir fry pan and a normal frying pan. Never been more excited about pans then now!
The update I'm most excited about is my new china! It's the most classic china Edme by Wedgwood. I grew up with this china at my dad's and grandmother's house. It still doesn't bore me and it's so classic and beautiful. But also perfect for everyday use. It is pretty expensive, but I see it as an investment for hopefully years and years of use. Also it has endless of options so you can keep expending your collection!
The water glasses were in need of an update as well. Threw out the plain Ikea ones and replaced them with these from Villeroy & Boch. Hmmm... I think I see a pattern here...
Last but not least, whiskey glasses by Dutch brand Libbey! The glasses are so beautiful and heavy. Perfect for an iced drink. :-)
Done (for now) with my kitchen items upgrade. So happy that I made the investment and did this. After all, these are day to day items and they bring me a little joy every time I use them!
