Read: Wild by Cheryl Strayed

The passed few days have been wonderfully warm in the Netherlands. One day even marked our little country the warmest in Europe! Can you imagine?

The warm days started on Friday, which was great because I was free that afternoon. After my Marketing exam I took myself out for lunch at Spirt, in Rotterdam. It's a vegan/vegetarian restaurant next to an organic supermarket and other planet friendly stores. I've only been there once for a green smoothie but was pleasantly surprised with their hot and cold buffet. Everything tasted so good! Just ook at my overfull plate below. And, it was my first meal eaten outside this year!

Book to read: Wild by Cheryl Strayed

The next day it was super warm as well, a whooping 26 degrees! I sat on my balcony from breakfast on and didn't quite want to do my chores yet. So I picked up Wild by Cheryl Strayed from my shelves I've been wanting to read for over a year but meant to save for on the plane to Rome

In two days I read 1/3 of the book (I had to study in between as well) and I really love it! What I like about the book apart from the way it's written is that it has absolutely nothing to do about my live. I love books I can truly escape from instead of bringing back memories.

But, I can find myself in the main character (which is Cheryl herself because it's a memoir) because she then was around my age. She tried to find herself by walking 1100 miles in 100 days through America. Wow.

Haven't seen the movie with Reese Witherspoon but can't wait to see it because I love her!

I would absolutely recommend this book and I wouldn't post it on my blog if I wouldn't. And I'm not even finished yet, but probably will in the coming days so I need a new book for my plane to Rome!

What are some of your favorite books? Recommendations while flying?
