The Lyrics

Lately I've been listening to a lot of new to me artists and new albums. For me, it's almost impossible not to listening to the lyrics, even if it's a dance song. For example: Summer from Calvin Harris. I love his music and I always want to dance to it. Summer is THE 2014 Summer song to me. I'll always sing along! I just downloaded his album and single. Great for pre-parties and gym time.

"And we could be together, baby, as long as skies are blue"

Recently I discovered Lorde. I knew the song Royals, but didn't made the link between the to. When I searched her on Youtube, I was amazed. what a voice! Her songs are so dreamy and catchy! I'm really into Buzzcut season and Team:

And we could be together baby
As long as skies are blue

"Living in ruins of the palace within my dreams
And you know, we're on each other's team"

A few days ago someone sent me Magic from Coldplay. I had heard the song before, but never really listened to the lyrics. I looked them up the internet and it's just like they were written for me. It's really hard not to tear up when I listen to this one.
The whole new Coldplay album Ghost Stories is really good!

"And if you were to ask me
After all that we've been through
Still believe in magic
Oh yes I do"

Confession: I was never really into Ed Sheeran, but I didn't know much of him too. Recently I listened A Team a lot and then I thought, why not download the whole album? He has a new one coming up later this month! This is from Give Me Love:

"Give me love like never before
Cos lately I've been craving more
And It's been a while but I still feel the same
Maybe I should let you go"

Do you listen to lyrics often? Any suggestions to which album/song/artist I should listen? New or old no matter what genre, I'm up for anything!
